What a great little travelling companion!
We absolutely love our new Acer netbook; we saw it a local box store but was already sod out. I came home, searched online and found it at Amazon.

Excellent!
Excellent little computer. Battery life seems to be less than 2 hours, but a 9-cell battery takes it well past 5 hours. I have no complaints about it, everything just works.

This is an excellent computer!

Surprising small computer
Purchased this to run Delorme mapware w/GPS in auto. Larger screen than the portable GPS (Magellan).

Small but Super
At first I was not sure whether the Acer Aspire One 8.9-Inch Netbook would meet my need for a “light weight” netbook with enough “computer power” to handle my daily workload.

Acer One netbook-XP home-8.9 inch screen
This replaces a Dell laptop whose age (6 yrs) was showing. I’m pleased with it. Not really any slower than the Dell, boots up much faster.
